Recorded live and unrehearsed at Eddie’s Attic, Decatur Georgia on April 18, 2009 by Shalom Aberle Mastered by Ben Wisch, N.Y.C
I met Doc Schneider in 2005, when I worked on a recording of his songs with my friend and producer, Ben Wisch. Doc is a special character, corporate (rock star) trial lawyer by day, balladeer by night. Several years later we decided to do a show together at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta Georgia, with the sole intention of playing some music together for some friends and fans. It was off -the cuff and entirely unrehearsed. We had no idea the show was being recorded until the sound man Shalom walked up to us afterward and handed us a CD. That turned out to be a good thing, as it had left us loose and without inhibition. When we listened back to the recording, we were surprised at the sonic quality of it, and the joy and spontaneity that shone through was just too genuine to put on a shelf. So release it we did.
